What's happening so far in 2011

Well, it's only the beginning of 2011 and so much has happened!! We started out the year living in a little apartment in Shelley, ID with our two beautiful kids. But that didn't last long! In February Mitch got a job at JumpTime Idaho in Meridian, ID (just to the west of Boise) and so we packed up and moved to Nampa! We found a great house in an awesome neighborhood here in Nampa. It has a big backyard that Kai just loves and can run around and play in all day long. We also live in walking distance from a park so we spend alot of time there when the weather is nice. Besides work and fun at the park, Mitch and I are both on a couple softball leagues. We have great teams and it's going to be a fun season! Kennedy is growing like a weed and is starting to get her own little personality!!! I can't wait to see what else this year brings us! A lot of good things are ahead.

Some of these pictures are from last year, but I don't have them on here yet so I figured I would add them. This one of Mitch is from when we went day camping last summer at Johns Rud in beautiful Missoula. This is also before we gave our loving boxer Ceasar away. Here's Mitch and Kai at Grandma and Papa Dave's house getting ready to go out and feed horses! This is last summer at the Chukars baseball game. My cousins Leah and Mandy and then I am on the left. Absolutely love those girls!!

Mitch's arms and chest muscles were so sore come Sunday!

Mitch recently played in a wheelchair basketball tournament. It was so fun to go watch him play and really puts things into perspective. It definately made us think about all that we have and how greatful I am personally to have all my abilities.

Just a few recent pics of the kids. It's hard to believe that our little Kennedy is almost 4 months old already, and that Kai is 3yrs. It seems like just a few days ago that I brought both of them home from the hospital

So in January 2010 Mitch and I decided that it was time to add to our little family, so March of 2010 Mitch and I found out we were pregnant! We were so excited that our dreams were coming true of adding one more sweet little child to complete our home. We decided to wait until we went to the doctor to tell our families, but Mitch called me from work about an hour or so after we found out and told me that he just couldn't wait and already told his parents. So naturally, I called to tell mine the exciting news!

We went to the Doc and found out we were due on December 21, 2010, then in July we found out that we were going to have a little girl!! Mitch and I were both so excited, we were both hopeing for a girl, but would've been happy with a boy. Kai was really excited to learn he would be a big brother in December. So, to make a long story short the Saxtons added there sweet little angel Kennedy Jordan Saxton to the family on December 15. And she is perfect :D

Well folks, it's been well over a year since I updated our blog and so much has happened!!! First off, we are no longer living in beautiful Missoula, MT and are now living in Shelley, ID. We loved every minute of our 2 yr adventure in Missoula and were sad to say goodbye to our amazing town and amazing friends. Since moving back to Idaho this past July, Mitch took a summer job working for Flagg Ranch up by Yellowstone Park. He had lots of fun adventures working as a Night Security Manager. One of which involved a grizzly bear and some bear mase :D. While Mitch was up working away, Kai and I spent our warm summer days swimming, playing outside and spending time with family.

Here are a few pictures of our time in Missoula.....

Downtown they have an awesome playground called Dragons Hollow and an old carousel called A Carousel for Missoula. Kai love riding the carousel and playing on the toys at Dragons Hollow. Needless to say we spent alot of time downtown :D

And then Kai finally got to wreck the fort! He jumped on top of it and landed right on the floor. Ha ha tough guy!

Kai and I built a fort this morning. He absolutely LOVED it!! He laughed and giggled and screamed the whole time. I could barely get him to hold still to take a picture! It was so much fun!

Here are some random pictures I finally uploaded from my cell phone. Some are old but they are still fun and some of our favorites. This top one is just Kai being Kai, trying to be funny and entertain everyone! He's really good at it!

It' so funny because Kai will only wear a hat if Mitch or I are wearing one. But he doesn't put it on normal, he always puts them on sideways!

This is one of my FAVORITES! We were at Kai's doctor appt. and his pediatrician couldn't check his ears because there was too much ear wax. So the nurses had to wrap him up like a burrito to flush out his ears! I just love the look on his face!

Before we cut Kai's hair we had to get a good pic of it standing straight up!

When we went to Papa and Grandma Daves' for a family reunion we played on the little 4-wheelers. Kai loved them and had a really hard time staying away from them. He would just run and climb up! It was so funny.

We had our friends Josh and Pam come over to Grandma and Papa Daves and this is Kai and their son Blake. He's so cute! Him and Kai got along great!!

This is the classic "Kai" face, with his tongue sticking straight out!! He often walks around with it hanging out like a puppy dog and then likes to wiggle it over his bottom teeth. It's SO funny!

Kai loves to help Daddy mow the lawn and also ride on the tractor, lawn mowers and 4-wheelers with his Grandpas. Kai is also definately a little Grandma's boy! I think it's because they spoil him rotten!! LOL He loves it though.

So, it's been a while since I've updated our blog so I figured I should! Well Kai is now 16 months old and is getting cuter and cuter every single day! He's starting to talk a little and saying quite a few words...Puppies, cracker, thankyou, papa, momma, dadda, uh oh, eye, go and to are the ones so far. He babbles and babbles and babbles all day long though! It's so funny and makes Mitch and I laugh really hard. Kai definately is the hilite of our lives and we are so grateful every single day for him and that he is healthy and strong.

Our son Kai was born on February 12, 2008. He's now 15 months old and acts like he's a 3 yr. old! Kai keeps our lives very busy but full of laughter and joy. He's so funny and Mitch and I love seeing all the new things he learns every single day.
